FCT Services SA strengthens its Executive Management Team

The Board of Directors of FCT Services SA (FCTS), the company responsible for the management and development of the FCT and FCT 1e Foundations, is pleased to announce an important development in its organisational structure, with the appointment of Julien Brasey as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and the establishment of a Management Committee, which will henceforth serve as FCTS’s executive body for its core business activities.

This development is designed to strengthen FCTS’s internal governance and support the long-term development of the FCT and FCT 1e Foundations, enabling them to continue serving the interests of their insured members and clients to the highest standards.

Julien Brasey joins FCT Services SA

The Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Julien Brasey as Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He will be responsible for the investment function and, through his expertise, will contribute to implementing the strategic directions defined by the Boards of Trustees of FCT and FCT 1e.

Julien Brasey brings extensive experience in the Swiss financial sector, together with an in-depth understanding of the needs of institutional clients. Throughout his career, he has held various positions at Credit Suisse, Banque Cantonale Vaudoise and UBS Asset Management, before most recently serving as Investor Relations Manager at Realstone. His professional experience is complemented by several recognised qualifications and certifications in financial analysis, wealth management, alternative investments and sustainable investment, including the CIIA, CAIA and CESGA designations.

The Board of Directors is confident that his experience, his understanding of the challenges specific to institutional investors and his investment expertise will be valuable assets to FCTS, as well as to FCT and FCT 1e, and will contribute to maintaining a rigorous and sustainable approach to investment management for the benefit of the insured members of both Foundations.

Establishment of a Management Committee

Alongside this appointment, and with a view to further strengthening its internal governance, the Board of Directors of FCTS has also decided to establish a Management Committee bringing together three key areas of expertise: actuarial services and occupational pension solutions, legal affairs and risk management, and investments.

This new executive body will contribute to the management and development of FCTS’s activities in support of FCT and FCT 1e.

The Management Committee comprises:

  • François Kissling, responsible for actuarial services and occupational pension solutions;
  • Violaine Landry Orsat, responsible for legal affairs and risk management;
  • Julien Brasey, responsible for investments.

The Management Committee’s mission is to oversee the implementation of the strategic directions defined for the FCT and FCT 1e Foundations.

This new organisational structure brings together complementary areas of expertise within FCTS’s management and further strengthens its governance framework. It promotes a collegial approach to decision-making, underpinned by a comprehensive and cross-functional understanding of the challenges facing the FCT and FCT 1e Foundations.

This development is fully aligned with the continuity of the Foundations’ model and values. The Boards of Trustees remain fully committed to defining the strategic directions of FCT and FCT 1e, while FCTS continues to fulfil its mission with the same commitment to quality, proximity and accountability.

The Board of Directors of FCT Services SA is confident that this strengthened management structure will bring its expertise and commitment to bear in supporting the balanced, sustainable and responsible development of FCT and FCT 1e’s activities, in the interests of all their clients and insured members.
